App Store Limitations

⚠️ Note: This only applies to Permute downloaded from the App Store.

For some features in the App Store version, you need to approve access to the entire file system. By default, Permute’s access to your files is limited to the files you drag & drop on Permute’s main window or the Dock icon. This, however, excludes the folder that the file resides it, which is needed for automatic subtitle detection as well as saving the files into the same folder as original. When you enable either of these functions, Permute will prompt you to grant this access.

Additionally, App Store version cannot convert .vob files and is missing the Pro Res preset.
