If your query is about Downie - please use the in-app support dialog to report the issue. Make sure that you've tried the User-Guided Extraction. See if you have modified any advanced settings and revert these changes. See Downie's help book for more information.
If your query is about Permute - please use the in-app support dialog to report the issue. Make sure that you haven't modified the preset with options that displayed warnings.
If your query is about license codes in general - if you are getting an error that the license code has been used too many times, deactivate the license code on the previous installation if possible via the command in the application menu in the menu bar (the bold one with the application's name). Apps that are not displayed in the Dock have these menu items in the gear/more menus in the menu bar popovers.
