Vidarium provides a Shortcuts action so you can add videos to a library from automations, the Share sheet, or a Spotlight/Siri phrase — without opening the app.

Add to Library

In the Shortcuts app, add the “Add to Library” action. It takes two inputs: the files to import (pass video files from any earlier step, such as Files, Photos, or a Share Sheet input) and the library to add them to.

The Library input is a live picker: it lists every library you have opened, plus your iCloud library when iCloud is available. Choosing one imports the files into that library’s root, exactly as dragging them in would.

Running it by voice

Because the action is registered as an App Shortcut, you can also trigger it with a phrase like “Add to Vidarium.” The action runs in the background; the videos appear the next time you open that library.
